To test the API download the Postman client here. Postman is an App that let's users build and test APIs.

Before we start using our APIs we need a token to authenticate all our APIs. To get the token, follow these steps -

• Set the HTTP verb to POST and enter the below URL in the URL field- http://localhost:8888/ecomadmin/wp-json/jwt-auth/v1/token

  

• Now, set the headers to Content-type: application/json in the headers tab.

  

• Now, move to the body tab and enter the username and password of the Wordpress dashboard that was set up in the previous steps.

  

  After you hit send, this will return an object which contains token, email, name of the admin. Copy and save the token somewhere else as we will be needing it in future steps in the documentation.

Now that we have the Auth token, we can now go ahead and look at the Mobile App setup.
